The Tuscarora State Line Trail Loop ascends the Great North Mountain following the ridge along the Virginia/West Virginia State line. This trail has steep hill climbs with some hike a bike rock sections. It offers many stream crossings and great views. This trail travels along an old fire road and has parts that are overgrown with Grass and weeds so be cautious of ticks. The trail connects to the Old Mail trail and then to an old logging road to finish the loop. There is a long hill climb on Hwy 55 to travel back to the pull off area.
